Illness Exclusion Information:

*Students that ONLY have the symptom of a fever (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or greater) must be excluded from school until the student is fever free – without the use of fever-reducing medication – for 24 hours before returning to school*

*Students that ONLY have the symptom of vomiting must be excluded from school at least 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting*

*Students that ONLY have the symptom of diarrhea must be excluded from school at least 24 hours after the last episode of diarrhea*

*Other URI symptoms that are disruptive to learning, such as: thick green drainage from the nose for multiple days, frequent coughing, severe congestion*

Parents/guardians are requested to inform the school of any health condition and/or special health care procedures that need to be performed while your student is at school. If your child has any of the following:

Any other condition that may require an emergency care plan or procedure during school 

Please contact the School Nurse to address planning needs. Health plans need to be completed annually.


Health Services provides vision, dental and hearing screenings. Grades K-5 are screened in the fall for vision concerns by the Lyons Club. Healthy Smiles will screen and apply sealants for students in grades 2, 3, 6, and 7. Additional vision screenings and any hearing screenings are done at the request of a teacher or parent for all students throughout the school year
